Zis-N-Zat From Pastor Asher

God is my conscience, Jesus lives in my heart… this blog is about what I see, what I think, what I do and how I serve God

Please join as at Kingswood UMC for Christmas Eve Celebration!

Merry Christmas!

Today is Christmas Eve! Christmas Day is observed around the world, and Christmas Eve is widely observed as a full or partial holiday in anticipation of Christmas Day. Together, both days are about the celebration and remembrance of the birth of Jesus Christ in the ancient country of Galilee a little over 2000 years ago. It is also about anticipation of Jesus’ Triumphant Return in the future. Culturally these two days (Christmas Eve and Christmas Day) are considered to be the most significant celebrations in Christendom.

At Kingswood United Methodist Church we will gather for our Candlelight Christmas Eve service at 7 pm. Approximately 15 minutes after the Christmas Eve Service ends, there will be a musical recital by our organist/pianist Diane followed by the Silent Celebration of the Sacrament of the Holy Communion.

Hope to see you there! You will be blessed!
