Zis-N-Zat From Pastor Asher

God is my conscience, Jesus lives in my heart… this blog is about what I see, what I think, what I do and how I serve God

Post-Election Note from Bishop Sandra Steiner-Ball

image“The election results have resulted in a number of feelings for many people. Anxiety, happiness, sadness, fear, hope, anger – just to name a few. In the midst of both the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead of us, let us not forget that prayer is the most powerful tool we have as people of faith. Prayer creates pathways through which God’s grace can be experienced and through which God’s word can be heard and implemented. Pray for our political leaders! Pray for God’s wisdom, grace, and direction! Pray for those who have opinions and positions different from yours. Pray for yourself – that you may have the eyes, heart, and mind of Christ in these challenging times so that you may be the faithful witness of Christ’s presence, hope, and life for the world.”
