Zis-N-Zat From Pastor Asher

God is my conscience, Jesus lives in my heart… this blog is about what I see, what I think, what I do and how I serve God

From the Maryland Emergency Management Agency Website; Tuesday morning 9:45 am

On Tuesday, October 30, 2012 @ 9:45 am I found this information on the MEMA’s website

We continue to be in a State of Emergency with many Marylanders now without power. Please continue to be careful and heed all emergency warnings from local officials. Check your local news and weather and contact your emergency management agency for more updates.

We need everyone to stay inside and off the roads–unless you are emergency or essential personnel. Do not put yourself and others in danger. Our first responders need to do their jobs.

My understanding is that we are still under a State of Emergency. My thoughts and prayers are with our church family and with all our neighbors. Shortly I will be calling everyone in our church to assess how we weathered the storm. If you want to contact me please call the parsonage phone number, I am trying to keep the cell phone line open. If the line is busy you will be prompted to leave a message: LEAVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER AND YOUR NAME FIRST   AND   speak slowly and I will return your call.

We have been blessed!! Power remains on, and no trees are down on our property. How are things at the parsonage? Larry is going in to check on the church shortly.
